Hello, and welcome! My name is Heather, the face behind O&A. In January 2021, I made the spontaneous decision to start selling my artwork. That night, I posted an announcement of my news, along with several hand painted bookmarks that I had made, which sparked an interest and excitement in many of my friends and followers that surpassed any expectations I had; and that is where the adventure began. 

I am so thankful for the support of my family and friends, especially my sister who has been extremely helpful during these first few months of this new journey. After a several year long bout of dispassion and impartiality toward creating art, my inner artist resurfaced and I suddenly found myself thrown into my passion again.

My focus has been on creating personalized artwork and collectables to fill in some of the current product gaps in the local small business market. For this reason, I accept a variety of unique commissions that may not otherwise be available locally. 

At Onyx & Aster we strive for sustainability which can be challenging due to lack of access to certain products locally, especially products specifically required for certain projects or packaging. 

At Onyx & Aster, any materials that cannot be purchased in person, without excess packaging, or in bulk selection stores, are ordered in bulk with other orders. As a result, there may be times in which certain supplies are limited, as we wait for a larger order amount. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

We limit excess packaging as much as possible, and use natural and recyclable materials for packaging purposes. Please help us support environmental initiatives by recycling or reusing our packaging.
